Important and necessary exercise Sep 1!
We at Donsö Maritime Training Centre are looking forward to the day that we have been working hard to prepare for.
During these preparations we have received a lot of assistance in gaining access to ship models, environments and functions for our Wärtsilä Marine simulator.

A large total defense exercise is planned on Donsö September 1.

Mental training is important for safety.
The importance of leadership in managing incidents on board was highlighted at a meeting of the industry association Swedocean. See article in Sjöfartstidningen.

Donsö tackles seafarer shortage with VR (Virtual Reality).
At the Donsö Maritime Training Center outside Gothenburg seafarers are being further trained in a training facility that includes everything from bridge maneuvering in VR to a unique engine room simulator. The goal is to reduce the personnel shortage in the industry.
